Collaboration with friends enriches eTwinning’s offer for professional development opportunities

The collaboration between eTwinning and “Friends of eTwinning” aims to offer meaningful material for teachers, share good practices, and disseminate projects’ results.

The eTwinning friends are Better Internet for Kids, COFACE Families-Europe, Eco-Schools, EDF, ESHA, EUROCLIO, Peace Jam, RAN centre of excellence, SALTO Youth, Science in Schools, Scientix, Terre des Hommes. These are non-profit organisations and initiatives that are active in fields such as education, children rights, science, inclusion, and they collaborate with eTwinning, providing mutual support.

The eTwinning friends provide valuable content related to their work, which could be used in schools for classroom collaborative activities. This is also a great chance for teachers to enhance their skills and knowledge, as they can benefit from friends through professional development opportunities. For schools, this could represent an occasion to connect with relevant organisations, to contribute in the school development plan and gain greater visibility at local, national and European levels.

eTwinning will be participating in the “Families on the Move” conference, organized by COFACE Families-Europe, at the centre of Europe at the Higher Institute for Family Studies in Brussels on Friday 12th May 2017 from 9.00 to 16.30.
